Hello South Texas partners,


Harvey is now a tropical storm and has slowed down to a nearly stationary
motion with the center over Dewitt County just north of Goliad. Harvey is
forecast to meander over the region through the middle of next week
producing Life Threatening and Catastrophic flooding.  River flood warning
have already been issued for several key rivers.  For all the details see
the attached briefing.

*Storm Surge Warning remains in effect from Port Aransas to Port O'Connor*
Location: 29.1 N  97.6 W or 45 miles WNW of Victoria, TX

Maximum Sustained Winds: 70
Present Movement:  NNW at 2 mph
Minimum Central Pressure:  987 mb
