Hello South Texas partners,


Harvey is moving slowly inland as a category 1 hurricane.  Harvey is
forecast to meander over the region over the next several days, and this
will transition to a prolonged heavy rain event.  Catastrophic and
life-threatening flooding will be possible through early next week.

*Hurricane Warning in effect from Baffin Bay to Port O'Connor*


*Storm Surge Warning in effect from Baffin Bay to High Island*
Location: 28.7 N  97.2 W or 20 miles WSW of Victoria, TX

Maximum Sustained Winds: 80
Present Movement:  NNW at 6 mph
Minimum Central Pressure:  975 mb
