ANNOUNCEMENTS

Good to have a new check-in tonight W5IE Rod Neumann from New Ulm.  Thanks for checking in.

Roger-N5RWK reports that this week he and Dan visited the repeater site and have changed the antenna configuration for the
VHF & UHF repeaters.  Both repeaters are now on the dual band antenna at 270 feet.  Also the interference experienced last
week was most likely due to propagation in the area. Both repeaters working fine tonight. Also Roger is working to install
a device that will enable the 2 meter repeater to periodic ID as required by FCC rules. Also Roger reminded everyone of the
posting on the reflector by Jim KE5FN regarding the West Gulf ARRL Director election.  Alan Brown K5AB is running for office.
Please check out the post.  Lastly, this past Saturday was the Austin Summerfest.  A good time was had by all but no Grand Prize
winners.  Thanks Roger.
