Folks,

 

A few announcements...

 

- The Tuesday Night Net is tomorrow evening at 7 pm.

- The March club meeting is Wednesday evening at Yani's.  Dinner at 6,
Meeting at 7.

- Belton Hamexpo is coming up on Saturday, April 7.

- All three surplus club repeaters have been spoken for by club members, so
we'll be completing the sale in the next week or so.

- Dan W5AOV and I deployed the third DR-2X repeater to Columbus this
afternoon.  It is set up in Auto Mode Select.  Note that it will be linked
to the Bellville repeaters for analog, but standalone in digital mode until
we have internet at the Columbus tower site.

 

As I mentioned at the February meeting, I will not be running for
re-election as club president.  It's been a fun 4 years, but it's time to do
something different.  Instead, I'll be working with Dan on maintaining the
club repeaters.  So we will need someone to step forward in time for
elections in June.  The main thing the president has to do is run the club
meetings, and the job comes with a very nice wooden gavel!  If anyone would
like more details let me know.
