Yes, I agree...another option might be QRZ.com, they have an online swapmeet. And putting them up for sale to club members is a good idea.

Good news about the PC. Shouldn't be difficult to get Red Hat 7 installed on it. The SSD isn't critical.

I am sure she will have a hard time getting rid of these items at a less than bargain price. I tried selling Carl Hickman’s stuff with very little luck. If she knows how to do ebay I think that would be the best bet. But some club member might want to make an offer.

Up and dressed today. First day. Can’t do much for the next 10 days. Ray is having the PC put together. Won’t have a SS drive. Should be ready this week.

Dan,

Pam said she bumped into you and Linda at Walmart yesterday. Hope the surgery went well!

I did some quick internet searches to check out the equipment Janice listed. Here's what I found:

FT-920: Discontinued by Yaesu and now unsupported. Two are currently for sale on e-bay, one for $725 and one for $1499. The former is a more realistic price, since you can buy a brand new latest model Yaesu FT-1200 for less than $1400.

Drake MN-2700 antenna tuner: Also a discontinued model. Found 3 selling on e-bay in price range $150-215-285.

Alinco power supply: This is a linear 30A continuous supply (35A peak), looks like it is discontinued. New units sold for around $220. One recently sold on ebay for $40, but shipping was $50 since the unit is heavy. Found another that sold for $103 including shipping.

Ameritron AL-1500 amplifier: Looks like these are still in production and sell new on Ham Radio Outlet around $3750. There are apparently some submodels so we will need to examine more closely. Looks like this is the highest value piece of equipment.

Yaesu MD-200ABX: Looks like there is either a newer model (Md-200A8X) or the model was transcribed incorrectly. Need to look at this more closely. Assuming it's an A8X, looks like these are selling for around $200-285.

Bencher Keyer: We'll have to take a look to see the exact model it is. It looks like the Bencher N2DAN model which lists for $525.

Telex hy gain antenna: have to see it to determine the model.

Roger

Subject: Ham Equipment

Hi Roger

I have attached some pictures of the equipment that I am looking to sell. My husband was J.Douglas Gerry ( NR5T). The equipment has just been in his shack and has’t been turned on for a little over 2 years

but he was using it so I don’t think there is any problems with any of it but I don’t know. Here is a list of what I have:

1. Yaesu transceiver FT-920

2. Drake MN 2700 (antenna tuner)

3. Alnico DC power supply 340 MVT

4. Ameritron AL-1500 Amplifier

5. Yaesu Dynamic Microphone MD-200ABX

6. Bencher keyer

7. A Telex hy gain antenna

Doug took good care of his ham stuff and I even have original boxes for most of the items & there are a couple of tubes in boxes but I don’t know working condition on them.

There may be a few more small things as I get into his things but this is the main stuff. He did build his own antennas and I have some wire and coax. If you have any questions please let me know and I will

try and answer them.

Thanks for any and all help,

Janice Gerry
