W5SFA members.

Linda and I will bring plates, silverware and such.

I will order the meat on Wednesday afternoon. So if you plan to come BE sure you let us know by then. Otherwise if you show up there may be no meat dish for you. As Roger said on the net this eve their will be plenty on home made beer. So you will be able to get drunk.

Subject: [W5SFA] SFA ANNUAL BANQUET UPDATE

Hi fellow sfa'ers,
1/11 Update:

The annual Stephen F. Austin Radio Club banquet is just around the bend on January 23 at the Barndominium. As you've heard, we are trying a little variety from the usual barbecue fair by having roll-your-own fajitas. Fill-ins in the form of sidedishes are needed to be sure to make as many happy people as possible.

Please look over the "suggested" list for suggested sides to bring to the W5SFA banquet.

The plan is to have a restaurant "cater" the fajitas (beef and chicken) including grilled onions, and tortillas. Coffee, tea, some soft drinks will be provided.

Items which could be supplied by helpful and friendly attendees include:

guacamole (need more than one person?)

sour cream (need more than one person?)

  Carl and Linda Pleasant

salad

  Carl and Linda Pleasant

beans and rice

dessert

  Gil and Beth

appetizers

Kat: extra tortillas, shredded cheese and some homemade jalapeño poppers as appetizers

Roger: chips and salsa as appetizers

We would like to know what you plan to bring (if anything) so that we can be sure that we don't run into a serious shortage of a particular item(s).

Please RSVP if you are planning to attend so that we do not over order too much.

Thanks,

Cameron
