Ok, thanks Bill, that is useful info.

What is strange is that just about everyone transmitting on the VHF repeater had the dead air on vhf problem.  Think we saw something similar last week but I didn't document it as well.  I just got off the phone with Dan, he was able to make it happen (dead air on vhf) as well.  He thinks it has something to do with the controller board.  We might be installing the new repeater tomorrow, so a different controller board may go in with it.
