Roger, I talked with a lady at D&S Welding in Brenham. She said she did not think that they had any 1 1/2" aluminum tubing in stock. But with you would call her she would like to discuss what your needs are. Their ad states that they are a steel distributor.

I'm considering building a 6m LFA beam (there are some nice plans on <http://www.g0ksc.co.uk/> http://www.g0ksc.co.uk as well as some Youtube videos showing construction at <https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2ajOTwvx4Q> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2ajOTwvx4Q

Looks like the antenna can be built for about $150 or so. I've found most of the parts I need, with the exception of 1 1/2 inch square aluminum tubing for the boom. Home Depot and Lowe's sell 1 inch square tubing in 8-foot lengths, but nothing larger, and I need a longer length anyhow.

Anyone know of a local supplier who sells this stuff?

Roger
