[W5SFA] Reminder: W5SFA April 29th Monthly Meeting

Folks,

 

Just a quick reminder about tomorrow night's meeting at Yani's.  You know
the drill...dinner at 6, meeting at 7.  Dan, do we have anyone testing this
month?

 

On the agenda:  work on the details for upcoming club events

 

Field Day at the Courthouse (June 27-28)

                - Who's planning to participate, logistics...and food!

                - Antennas / equipment - how many people can operate at
once. Using the FT-2000 rig at the courthouse at a minimum.

 

W5SFA Special Event Station

                - We need someone to design QSL cards and certificate.
Maybe we could have a competition?

                - I will submit the notice to QST and CQ magazines - any
other publicity?

                - If one location we operate is SF Austin State Park, maybe
rent a shelter for the day?  Do we need permission from the park to operate?
