23, 2025 after a brief illness. Graveside
service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Calvary
Catholic Cemetery in Brenham, TX. A
reception will be held at the Kenney Store in Kenney, TX, following the service
at 12:15 p.m., hosted by David\u2019s friends. His friends and family are welcome to
come together and share memories in his honor.</p>
<p style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;" class="yiv2511353449MsoNormal">David was born on July 1, 1958 in Brenham, Texas, to parents
Raymond and Evelyn (Kasprowicz) Nowak. He
was baptized and confirmed at St. Mary\u2019s Catholic Church in Brenham. David was
a lifelong member of St. Mary\u2019s where he served as an acolyte and administered communion
to those that were homebound. He graduated
from Brenham High School in 1976 and attended Blinn College.</p>
<p style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;" class="yiv2511353449MsoNormal">David worked at Washington County State Bank, Bode and Tonn,
and then found his true calling working for the City of Brenham as a <b>Telecommunications
Operator dispatching for the Brenham Police Department, Washington County Sheriff\u2019s
Office, Emergency Medical Services and Texas Department of Public Safety. David later continued his public service as
an Evidence Technician for the Brenham Police Department.</b> He also was a volunteer for the Brenham Fire
Department as a photographer where he took photos of accidents, trainings and
community events. David was a very talented
photographer and took some of the most amazing photographs. David loved his ham radio. He received his license in 1979 under the
call sign KA5EEQ. He then upgraded to
technician status in 1982 and in 1990 got his advanced certification and his call
sign was changed to KI5JI. He was a
member of the American Radio Relay League and was a former member of the
Brenham Amateur Radio Club and the Washington County Amateur Radio Club. One of David\u2019s greatest loves was animals. He loved all of his pets who were very
special to him. </p>
<p style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;" class="yiv2511353449MsoNormal"><b>David also had a passion for computers and technology,
proudly owning one of the first Apple computers. He was an avid reader with a
wide-ranging curiosity and a genuine interest in the lives of others. Friends
often received thoughtfully selected magazines, periodicals, or books from
David\u2014tokens of his care and attentiveness to their interests. His generosity,
intellect, and constant thoughtfulness left a lasting impression on all who
knew him.</b></p>
<p style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;" class="yiv2511353449MsoNormal">David was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.</p>
<p style="margin:0in 0in 8pt;line-height:107%;font-size:11pt;font-family:Calibri, sans-serif;" class="yiv2511353449MsoNormal">David is survived by his faithful companion, BULLITT; his
aunt, Virginia Guinn of Houston; numerous cousins and friends who mourn his
passing.</p>
