I checked with Dan W5AOV to get his take on this. Turns out this is a lack of understanding on my part - when in digital mode the repeaters are not linked between VHF and UHF. VHF and UHF are only linked when being used in analog mode. </div><div class="yiv2382003459MsoNormal" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1492566903891_2800"> </div><div class="yiv2382003459MsoNormal" id="yui_3_16_0_ym19_1_1492566903891_2805">In other words, when using C4FM digital, the repeater is standalone.
