For example, W5SFA would be "S".<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>As net control, I'll announce the start of the net, and ask for check-ins beginning with A-L. If you call suffix falls in this range, simply announce your call sign. After everyone in the A-L range has checked in, I will repeat each call and ask for any others in the A-L range. Then we'll move on to the M-Z range and do the same thing. (This is to keep too many people from checking in at the same time).<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>After everyone has checked in, I'll ask each call sign to speak in order of check-in. State your call and name, and anything else you would like to say. For example, your radio, power output and antenna are - whatever you like.<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoNormal>When we've gone through the entire list, I'll make some general announcements, then we'll throw it open. If you have something to contribute, give your call. I will give you the "floor" and you say your piece, then on to the next person until we run out of things to say.
