well when i heard no vendors i didn’t think those you mentioned were even there someone mentioned that HRO was at houston hamfest and belton would have been a shorter trip for them…interesting
i wasn’t there so looks like i didn’t miss much maybe the fall version will be better

Weather was tolerable with light drizzle. Had my umbrella handy.The tailgate section consisted of about two rows in the parking lot.Inside was sadly under served. Only vendors-The Hat & Badge lady, ABR Coax and ARRL.No Wireman, the company with antennas, connectors and cables was missing. No MTC or HRO.
Met several folks for the area. Good to see KJ5OPV Frank out. He was looking for a new antenna for his radio. No vendor in sight. The Meech family was there in the tailgate section.
I did hear of a hamfest coming up in November in El Campo sponsored by Cross Roads Amateur Radio Club. Two days November 12 & 13.
