Club members,

 

This evening I worked John Wiley, V73JW on the club repeater.  John is our
new member who is currently on assignment in the Marshall Islands.   He's
using a DVStick dongle, which when used with the BlueDV software running on
a PC allows him to connect into our XLX979 gateway reflector and into our
Bellville repeater.

 

So if you'd like to talk to John while he is in the Marshalls, be monitoring
the club repeater on either UHF digital or VHF analog - but the time
difference is rather confusing:  there is a +17 hour time difference.  I
asked him to post an email to the club mail list when he plans to be on the
air.or just monitor the club repeater.
