W5SFA Members,

The pictures below are of Ron Beauregard’s equipment. Agnes is putting it up for sale. If you are interested please call her at 713-206-8200. 

The tower shown is a HD Aluminum about 50 foot. It is a “you take it down” and everything is included. Tower, Rotor with controller and beam. It was about $20K new. She will take $7K for it.

I’ve compiled the inventory all of Ron’s equipment below, along with photos, made a rough estimate on pricing (mostly based on the qrz.com swapmeet) and added web links to the manufacturer’s page.  

Here are some random thoughts:

                In general, this is high power, high quality equipment, which may make it more difficult to sell locally.

Some of the equipment is now out of production, and I’ve noted that.

Since Ron was a smoker, that will negatively impact the value of the equipment – to what extent I do not know.

Without boxes, manuals and accessories, the equipment will have lower value.

The K3 transceiver is problematic, since I do not know what options are installed in it.
