Greetings All.

Despite the chilly weather, the Radio in the Park in Navasota was a 
success. Wool caps and warm jackets were in use.  Hot coffee was the 
order of the day.

Turn-out was great.  The Grimes County Amateur Radio Group was out in 
force.  Very interested in the stations that were setup. Roger N5RWK was 
working voice mode SSB, Ray WA5IWB setup a WSPR station to demonstrate 
what can be done with 200 milliwatts and the usefulness for testing 
antennas.  Gary KF5ZRT setup a digital station operating FT8.

A good time was had by all.  Lots of information was exchanged and 
meeting up with several new HAMS.  Looking forward to our next Radio in 
the Park in the Spring.  Next one will be in Bellville.


Reminder -- Our monthly club meeting is scheduled for Wednesday February 
26th at our favorite Mexican Food restaurant in Bellville.  Hope to see 
you there.
