[W5SFA] Reminder: Tuesday Night Net Tonight

Just a quick reminder.

 

The net will be available on FM analog (Bellville 145.410 VHF repeater) as
well as C4FM digital (Bellville 444.875 repeater).  The audio problems we
had last week have been resolved, so things should sound a lot better.  

 

Also note that the effective range of the digital UHF repeater is less than
the analog VHF.   If you are within 8 miles or so of Bellville, UHF should
work fine, but at longer distances VHF will work better.  At least part of
the reason for this is that the VHF antenna is quite a bit higher than the
UHF antenna.

 

The July W5SFA club meeting will be held at the Sealand Restaurant on Hwy.
