I have 3 CD’s with the programming software on them. You will need to purchase a cable from ICOM or some other place to program them. The two cables needed are the OPC-478UC (USB cable) and the OPC-592 cable. The price is $65 (this includes shipping). You may find them cheaper on the internet.

Subject: [W5SFA] Surplus Club Repeaters for Sale

W5SFA Members,

As discussed at our Feburary meeting, the club has three surplus analog repeaters. All three are Icom branded, one is an FR-4000 (UHF) and the other two are model FR-3000 (VHF). These repeaters were formerly in service at our Bellville and Columbus locations, and are replaced by the new DR-2X repeaters.

The club is giving its members the first buying opportunity. The price for club members will be $250, first come, first served. (But if you want to pay more, we will gladly take your money!)

Any repeaters unsold after club members have had an opportunity to purchase will then be offered to the membership of other radio clubs in the area. The asking price will be $300. If any repeaters remain unsold by April 7, we will take them to the Belton HamExpo and put them up for sale there.

So if you've been itching to have your own repeater, this is your golden opportunity!

All three repeaters are in good working order, and buyers are welcome to test them before purchasing. Here are some web links for further information:

Let me know if you'd like to purchase no later than Wednesday, March 28 (date of the next club meeting).

73,

Roger N5RWK
