[W5SFA] 4 vs 6 character Maidenhead locator

I'm not sure about this yet, but will check it further.  It seems that
after a 6 char spot is entered in the WSPR database for my call, it
continues to associate my call with that location, even when I switched
back from extended mode.  Now I'm just sending 4 char spots, but it still
locates me in Bellville instead of near Halletsville! -- AND it looks like
I get better copy.  I had just one station report hearing me; I changed to
4 char spot. The very next transmission there were three.

That would make sense, because it doesn't need to associate with a second
string in the transmission.
