From JParmalee at aol.com Thu Aug 3 20:21:00 2017 From: JParmalee at aol.com (JParmalee at aol.com) Date: Thu, 3 Aug 2017 21:21:00 -0400 Subject: [W5SFA] lots of tubing, coax & antenns The house is being sold, everything must go Message-ID: <165590.59e0f144.46b525fc@aol.com> All: Time is running out. The house is being readied for sale, and everything goes. I?d really like to have all the following gone by next Sunday evening. I have literally several hundred of feet of aluminum tubing of various lengths and diameters from ? inch to about 2-1/2 to 3 inches, including thick wall tubing suitable for booms. There are several 11-element Cushcraft booms (with many elements), including one Long John boom. There?s one complete triband beam boom, along with a number of larger diameter shorter pieces. Some of this will telescope with other sizes. There?s one complete commercial 30 foot boom 2-band 3 element marine beam with all the hardware, one 70 MHz commercial beam, and several rectangular cross-section booms. I e stimate there is enough tubing for 4-5 15 and 20 meter monoband beams, maybe more. Obviously, the same goes for 6 meter beams. There is a considerable amount of hardline, both spiral as well smooth, with a number of end terminations for Type N, as well as UHF, connectors. Some of the hardline is about 100 feet per coil, some a little more. Email _kentmarshall at comcast.net_ (mailto:kentmarshall at comcast.net) , or even better, call anytime to see at 713-703-1241 What isn?t taken will go to the scrap yard. For details, call me at 713-703-1241; location is in the near vicinity of Hwy. 249 and Cypresswood, just north of Willowbrook Mall. Thanks?. Threat for Heavy Rain Diminished To: Jennifer Dunn - NOAA Federal ?? Good Afternoon South Texas partners, *...Tropical Storm Warning remains in effect from Mesquite Bay to Port O'Connor, including only Calhoun County...* Tropical Storm Harvey is now east of Port O'Connor in the Gulf of Mexico, moving east away from South Texas. Gusty northwest winds are expected to continue tonight but should be diminishing on Tuesday. Our heavy rainfall threat has decreased and shifted east. Rainfall totals across South Texas are now up to 1" through the middle of the week, in particular across Victoria and Calhoun Counties. Isolated higher amounts near 1.5" cannot be completely discounted. We are most concerned about the Guadalupe River basin where Life Threatening Flooding is still possible. *For all the details see the attached briefing. * *Additional Information Resources:* *NWS Corpus Christi Contact Numbers:* 888-579-9731 or 361-289-0725 *NWS Corpus Christi Webpage:* www.weather.gov/corpuschristi *Online Flood Reporting: *http://innovation.srh.noaa.gov/StormReport/Submi tReport.php?site=crp *AHPS River Forecasts*: water.weather.gov/ahps2/index.php?wfo=crp *Request for Information:* *Please relay all flooding reports and/or photos of flooding to our office ASAP. Harvey will continue an eastward track this morning before turning back to the northeast later today. The heavy rainfall threat will remain to the east of South Texas. The best chances for showers today will remain east of a Goliad to Rockport line, though anticipated rainfall totals of well under an inch are expected for South Texas through mid week. Here in New Ulm we got over 22" of rain - more than that since the rain gauge overflowed a couple of times. But we had no problems. There are a number of road closures around, which you can check on Google Maps by turning the traffic overlay on. Make sure you're zoomed up sufficiently. The county Sheriff's Facebook page is also a good resource. Looks like there are road closures south of Bellville, Hwy 36 and FM2429. I did see that FM109 between Industry and Brenham is now open - that was closed previously (it's often a problem area). FM159 from Industry to Bellville is open, as well as TX36 between Brenham and Bellville. So at this point the meeting is ON for Wednesday evening, but I will check to make sure Yani's will be open. I'll send out more updates later today and tomorrow. And don't forget the Tuesday night net tonight at 7 pm! 73, Roger N5RWK -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
