SFARC Newsletter is published monthly for members and those interested in
becoming members.
January, 2001
January Meeting
The next SFARC meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 31 at Sillivan’s
Restaurant (Highway 36 between Bellville and Kenney). Dinner will be at 6:30 PM, with business meeting to follow.
November/December 2000 Meeting
No SFARC business meetings were held in
November/December. On the other hand,
Club members enjoyed a great Christmas dinner and visit at Dave K5KX and Joy’s
house. The attendees were Dave (K5KX)
and XYL Joy, of course, Carl Hickman (K5OWC) and XYL DeAnn, Dan (W5AOV) and XYL
Linda White, and Wade Eilers (W5TEN).
The Club received a thank-you letter and gift certificate
for $75 worth of dinners at Sillavan’s Restaurant for its assistance in the
“2000 Crossroads Classic” bike ride from Tom Martin of the Sealy Lions
Club. Tom hopes we, W5SFA, will assist
again with the communications next year.

in 2000 and had a great time - everything for the Amateur in one (big) spot.
